Programs:- promote the health and well-being of children and families

- help children make healthier lifestyle choices through experiential learning, highlighting healthy eating, nutrition, cooking skills, multicultural-food education, active living and daily physical activity
- address critical issues like child nutrition, obesity, poverty, hunger, self-sufficiency and food security
- serves vulnerable and under-served neighborhoods
- programs are free or subsidized
- offered at various school locations
