Description des services: Provides short term supports and counselling to children, youth, and families living with serious illness, grief, dying and death * provides information and resources for people living with illness and loss * monthly bereavement activities are held for children and families who have had a loved one die
  • Once the referral is received, HUUG staff will triage and provide services accordingly
  • Palliative referrals of less than 6 months and traumatic/sudden death will have immediate access to services, while bereavement support services will be waitlisted for services
  • Families are seen in the home or their place of preference
  • Heart House Hospice is the lead organization of the Children and Youth Grief Network
