One of eleven stroke networks in the province of Ontario * the goal of the network is to decrease the incidence of stroke, improve patient access, care and outcomes by promoting system change and providing professional education * provides education and community resources for persons with stroke and educational materials (e-learning) for professionals
West GTA Stroke Network is a part of CorHealth Ontario * CorHealth is formed by the merger of the Cardiac Care Network of Ontario and the Ontario Stroke Network, with an expanded mandate spanning cardiac, stroke and vascular services through the entire course of care
