Description des services:

Creates, maintains and coordinates an effective community emergency capability and capacity that provides for the safety and well-being of Halton residents
- emergencies could include tornadoes, floods, train derailments, hazardous materials spill, or freezing rain/ice storms
Regional Emergency Operations Centre
- A designated facility where the Region’s Emergency Control Group assemble to manage the response to an emergency or disaster
Alert Status on halton.ca
- in the event that high-level information needs to be available an alert banner will appear atop of halton.ca
Halton Region’s Enhanced Community Notification Service (eCNS)
- an emergency notification system for household and business landline phones
- this system will be used in the event of a major incident or emergency in the Region

- delivers critical and potentially life-saving alerts to Canadians through television, radio, and LTE-connected and compatible wireless devices
